How to wash your brushes!

Hi everyone, so today im going to show you how to wash your makeup brushes. All the products that I use are things that you would normally have in your house, so you dont need to go out out and buy a brush cleaner!
You will need:
Olive Oil
A small bowl
A gentle shampoo

You will need need to be in a bathroom or in place a where you can access a tap. I would recommend washing your brushes at the least once a month and that is if you don't use your brushes often.

So as you can see all of my brushes are really dirty and I also used them on different people so before I use them on myself I need to give them a good clean. You need to make sure that you wash your brushes if you use them on other people because bacteria can transfer for someones skin to another and it can give someone rashes or redness for a long period of time and I personally have experiance from that.

So here I am taking my first brush and putting It into a bowl with olive oil in it (you dont need much oil), you then want to swirl it around in the olive oil and this will get rid of the colour and bacteria in the brush.

After that, you need rinse your brush under the tap and sqweeze out all of the olive oil. You need to make sure that your brush is facing down throughout the whole process beacuse if water travels down the brush, it can loosen the glue that keeps the bristles together and all the bristles will start falling out! You then want put a little bit of shampoo into the palms of your hands and swirl the brush in your hands, this step is very necessary as it removes all the excess oil in the brush.

So after you have finished washing all of your brushes you need to either place them sideways down on some sort of flat surface or it would be even better if you could place them upside down,  the best way that i have found to do that is with the case of my Real Techniques brushes. So now you are done and you just need yo wait for them to dry! I normally wash my brushes in the evening and let them dry properly overnight.

Hope you liked it! :-)

My everyday makeup products!

Hi everyone, so today im going to show you my everyday makeup products. I don't wear these products all the time as I don't always wear makeup but when I do wear makeup, this is what I apply!

As a base I like to apply the No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser, if you read my blog weekly then you'll know that I don't like to wear foundation as I don't think I need it, I like wearing tinted moisturisers and they moisturise your skin whilst giving you the minimal amount of coverage. I like this tinted moisturiser as it doesn't cling to dry patches (which I have found with other tinted moisturisers) and it does last pretty well throughout the day. I apply this with my fingers as I find when I apply it with a brush it can go slightly streaky.

The next thing I like to apply is my Soap&Glory Kick Ass Concealer, I mentioned this concealer in my February Favourites and I still absolutely love it, I would apply the lighter peachy colour under my eyes and the other colour on any imperfections and then I would take the powder and apply it with my Real Techniques Blush Brush on the places that I applied the product.

After that, on the same brush, I like to apply my Body Shop Honey Bronzer. I apply this in the hollows of my cheeks and onto my temples and just on most of my face to give me a nice bronzed look, I really like this bronzer as it is more like a skin colour so it just adds something to your face.

On the same brush again I like to apply my Sleek Blush By 3 Palate in Lace, I take the colour in the middle which is called guipure and apply it to the apples of my cheeks. It just give a really nice sheen to your cheeks without adding too much colour.

I don't normally use powder as I have dry skin but I do sometimes use a little bit to set all my makeup and I would use the No7 Perfect Light Loose Powder, I don't really have a full opinion on this powder because I haven't used it for long enough to decide whether I like it or not but so far so good.

The next thing that I would apply would be my Soap&Glory Smoulder Kohl Eye Pencil in Cocoa Bean which is a nice brown colour. I apply this on my waterline just to add something to my eye. I like using brown instead of black as it is a bit less intense. I really like this eyeliner as it does stay on for the full day and it is nicely pigmented.

After that I would curl my eyelashes then apply my Maybelline Falsies Mascara, I really like this mascara as it gives the perfect amount of length and volume to your lashes and then I would take a clear mascara and apply that to my bottom lashes.

Finally, I would just apply my Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me as I don't like a lot of colour on lips and this tinted lip balm is great as it moisturises your lips whilst giving them some colour, and that would be my makeup done !

Hope you liked it ;-)

Pasta!

Hi everyone, so today I'm going to show you how to make pasta! This is just a basic recipe that could be useful and I apologise for any vegetarians out there because this recipe does include meat but I will be posting a vegetarian meal soon!

  You will need:
Carrots
Mushrooms
Onions
Mince
Tomato Puree
Pasta

First of all you need to cut your carrots into small thin circles, then you want to dice your mushrooms. You then want to also dice your onion and put it into a pan and fry it. Once your onion is a golden brown colour, you need to add your mince and keep on mixing it. Following that you need to add your tomato puree, mushrooms and carotts and any seasonings that you want to add.
Alongside doing that, you need to put however much pasta you want into a pan and put boiling water on top, you then just want to leave it to cook. The timing varies on how long to cook your pasta depending on how many portions you want to make, but you will know when its ready when you put a fork in the pasta and you can see that it is flexible. You then want to strain your pasta and its done!
Finally you then want to mix your pasta and mince together and serve it up!
And It should look a little something like this↓↓↓

Brush Yourself To Beauty - Real Techniques Blush Brush

Hi everyone, so today im going to be showing you my absolute favourite brush for bronzer, blush, powder and highlighter! The Real Techniques Blush Brush is such a multi task brush and it can be compared to many high-end brushes!

I really, really like this brush because I find that it is slightly tapered so it is great for getting in to the hollows of your cheeks for contouring or just for bronzing.
It is also great for blush (as it is a blush low) as it fits perfectly on the apples if your cheeks to get that perfect pop of colour.
I find this brush also amazing for powder as it isn't too big so you can go under your eyes and set your concealer and its perfect for if you don't want to powder your whole face so you can just get the bits that you want.
I don't always use this brush for highlighting but I find that It does work nicely when I do, I would apply the highlighter with the tip of the brush on the tops of the cheekbones to give a glowy look!

Hope you liked it! :-)
