They're Useful!

Hi everyone, so today i am going to show some cards that are very useful when It comes to beauty shopping! I also wanted to make this post very short and straight to the point as I felt my last post was very long and might of been slightly boring.
So here I have 3 cards, a boots advantage card, a debenhams beauty club card and a superdrug beauty card.

I find these cards very useful whenn shopping in each one of them stores, you can use them when buying anything in the store and you gets for the amount of money you spend (except the debenhams card can only be used in the beauty section). You get coupons and vouchers sent in the post that you can use in-store to get money off products etc. Also, when you have enough points you can buy products with them points which is awsome as if you are a shopoholic (like me), when you buy a load of products you want to get a reward for them, right?
So, instead of always being used to "no thankyou" every time the person at the till offers you something, take It and it could end up being very useful!
I also wanted to take this time and ask you guys for suggestions on what you want to see from me and read for the upcoming weeks on my blog! :-)

Hope you liked it! :-)

Bare Minerals Get Started Kit

Hi everyone, so I thought that I would do a review for you guys on the BareMinerals starter kit. This whole set contains loose mineral products and it includes 2 different tones of foundation ( a yellowy tone and a pinky tone), a bronzer (warmth), a finishing powder (mineral veil), a primer, 2 foundation brushes and a concealer brush. It comes in 4 different shades, light, medium, tan and dark, the one that I have got is in medium. If you are a frequent reader of my blog then u you will probably be thinking 'I thought she doesn't wear foundation' well the fact is, I don't! My mum always wears foundation on a daily bases and a few months ago she bought this set and tried it out after years of using the L'Oréal True Match Foundation. I also thought that even if I don't wear foundation I still have to try some out and recommend some for you guys as I know that most people do wear foundation.

So.... back to what this post is about, this set isn't exactly the cheapest but you do get alot of products inside it, so if you think about it, it isn't actually that expensive. So lets start with the primer, the primer just glides onto the skin making your skin feel super soft and smooth and it makes the foundation sit on your skin comfortably.

The foundation has a very buildable coverage as you can apply the tiniest bit and get a light coverage or really build with the foundation to get a really nice flawless coverage on the skin, it is a really nice foundation for acne-prone skin because it really nicely cancels out all of your imperfections. It lasts for a full day and it doesn't go funny on the skin in humid weathers, it also doesn't feel like you are wearing any makeup which I find a really great thing in a foundation.

The bronzer (warmth) adds some really nice colour to the skin, you can use this all over the face or just in the hollows of your cheeks to get a really nice bronzed glow, this doesn't at all look orangey on the skin instead it gives you a sun kissed look. The finishing powder (mineral veil) helps the foundation stay on for slightly longer and it is translucent so it doesn't add any more colour to your skin although I find it does seem to foundation slightly lighter.

The brushes I find apply the makeup nicely although I find that the bristles do fall out a lot and sometimes stick to your face, the full flawless face brush (left) is good for a more full coverage application whereas the flawless face brush (right) is good for like top ups as it gives a more lighter application. The maximum coverage concealer brush (middle) is great for applying extra foundation as a concealer on the places that the foundation brush cannot reach like under the eyes or if you want extra coverage on your blemishes.

A Day in the Life of Me - Bridlington

Hi everyone, so today I thought I would give you a sneak peek into a day out that me and my family went on last weekend. We went to Bridlington by the sea just as a nice day out and here are some pictures that we took from the beautiful beach.

This picture was taken from the above when we walking along.

The seagulls were surrounding the coastline and view overall was really pretty!

I really enjoy walking by the water as its just so calming and relaxing and just really fun!

Next to the beach there is a really pretty place called Sewerby Gardens. It has some really pretty flowers and plants everywhere and here are just a few pictures that I took of only half the amounts out flowers and plants there were!

And here is a message I wrote for you on the sand!

1 Jacket = Multiple outfits!

Hi everyone, so as it is now spring and nearly summer I thought that I would do a mini spring/summer look book but with a little twist, I picked out one jacket that I thought would go with a lot of different outfits that are perfect for spring/summer.

Jacket: Next
Dress: Next - This dress is really good for spring as it has a nice plain navy colour on the top half and on the bottom half it has this really nice floral pattern and I just think that this outfit is very spring/summer appropriate.

Jacket: Next
Dress: Next - This dress is a bit more plain than the other one so its great for people who don't like a lot of pattern or even a lot of colour, its white and navy blue striped and it is sort of skater style dress but a bit more flowy. The jacket just gives the outfit the perfect pop of colour and pared with some navy blue leggings, this outfit will be complete!

Jacket: Next
Dress: Next - This dress is all lace with lining underneath it. Its a really pattern and it is all navy blue so pairing it with an orange jacket with add that pop of colour that you need and it with just finish your outfit!

All of these clothes are from Next's new spring/summer collection and I really like the clothes that they have so I picked up a few that i really liked to show you!
Hope you liked it!:-)

April Favourites!

Hi everyone, so April has just finished and I thought I would do a another monthly favourites as my other one went down well!

To start off with, I have been really liking the Garnier Micellar Water, I featured this in my haul I did a few posts back (which I will link here) and I have been really liking it since. Its absolutely brilliant at taking off your makeup and its such a big bottle that it will probably last me ages. Its is also really good at taking off your eye makeup in one swipe which I find really handy as many other makeup removers that I have tried don't do that!

The next thing I have been loving is the Revlon Lip Butter in Crème Brulee, this was just a recent purchase but I fell in love with it instantly and I knew I had to include I in this post because it is literally amazing, it is like the perfect nude for me and I find it to be in the middle of a lipstick and a tinted lip balm. You can build up the colour with this or you can sheer it down with you finger.

My perfume pick for this month has to be the Britney Spears Fantasy Perfume, I got this a while back in duty free and its just such a nice sweet scent which I love. I am really bad at describing scents but if you are into nice sweet-like scents than this perfume is right for you!

Another thing that I have been really liking is the BarryM Magnetic Nail Polish, I featured this in my very first proper blog post (which I will link here ). A few weeks ago I was wondering what colour to paint my nail and I thought that I haven't used this nail polish much so I picked I up and pained my nails and I literally fell in love, the effect that this nail polish gives is really nice and I have been using it a lot this month!

The next thing I've been loving is the Topshop Glow Highlighter in Gleam I had heard a lot about this recently so I thought as it is coming up to summer I definitely need to try out some new highlighters and this is a great cream highlighter. It comes in two shades, polished and gleam, polished is a more lighter colour but gleam is a more goldy colour. It just looks beautiful on the tops of your cheekbones and any areas you would want to highlight and you can even use this as a cream eyeshadow.

So that sums up my favourites for this month!
Hope you liked it!:-)
