The Best Spring/Summer Blushes!

I am a big blush fan and I also love my bright and muted summer blushes so I'm going to show you some of my favourites!

So we'll begin with a pallet and it's the Sleek Blush By 3 Pallet in Lace. This is my go-to blush pallet for the summer as the shades are all very warm extremely summer appropriate with a bright orange, a golden shimmery pink and a coral, these blushes are very pigmented and the formula is great!
Next I have a mini sample size blush which is the Benefit Bella Bamba Blush, I do believe that this blush is discontinued but if you do own it then I would definitely recommend bringing it out for the summer as you would get a lot of use out of it because it is that perfect pinky coral shade with slight golden and silvery shimmers which is beautiful!
The NYX Blush in Mocha I would say is an all rounder blush you could wear all year round but it is still absolutely gorgeous for the summer! I would wear this when I only want a little flush of colour on the cheeks and it will go with any look you do so it is a must!
The last blush is the Maxfactor Creamy Blush in Soft Pink. Cream blushes are ideal for the summer because they give that nice dewy glow to the cheeks which most people like in the summer and it look super natural and pretty on the skin!

What blushes do you love for the summer?

Real Techniques Nic's Picks Collection!

I only recently got my hands on the Real Techniques Nic's Picks Collection and I have been using them every single day constantly since I got it - as you can see they are a bit dirty but I put it back into the packaging to show you ;-) -! I know this collection came out a while ago but it is still available on allbeauty.com .

These brushes are exactly the same quality as the rest of the Real Techniques brushes, they are super soft and they do not shed. With this collection I mainly had my eye on the first brush which is the Duo-Fibre Face Brush and it didn't let me down, it is by far my favourite brush out of all of them! I use it for a light application of powder, bronzer and blush and it is also great for cream products, I absolutely love it!
The second brush is the Cheek Brush and after playing around with it, I prefer to use this as a contour brush. I'm not a big fan of it for blush but I really like it to apply a thick but still defined contour although it is also great for cream products too!
The third brush is the Angled Shadow Brush and I really do like this brush. It is perfect to apply that crease colour and whilst applying it, it blends out the edges beautifully too so the brush does all the work for you so it is a crease brush and a blending brush in one!
The fourth brush along is the Base Shadow Brush, I already own this brush from the Starter Kit but I am happy that I have another one so I can use one to apply and the other one to blend. This brush is stiff enough to apply a wash of colour to the lid but still fluffy enough to blend out the shadow nicely.
The last brush is the Eyeliner Brush, I was really looking forward to using this brush because I needed a new eyeliner brush for gel eyeliner but for me it is just too thick. It is good for applying a thin line across the lash line but it is too thick to do a wing so you don't get that nice sharp flick.

So that is my overall review on this set! What do you think?

Handbag Makeup Essentials!

Sometimes my bag can get full and cluttered of makeup that I just chuck in there 'just in case' I will need it but in reality I never really do. So I'm just going to show you the products you will actually need if you want to stay on top of your makeup all day!

I think a powder would be an obvious one for everyone just to make sure you don't get shiny throughout the day and that your makeup will last all day as its an easy one to touch up with!
I feel like a concealer is also necessary as you never know when something might pop up on your face throughout the day and you really want to cover it up, you can also use the powder to set the concealer and make sure it lasts!
A spoolie (disposable mascara wand) is something that I have everywhere! They are so useful to go through your eyebrows if they are going crazy throughout the day because I know mine do!
An eyelash curler may not be necessary but if your anything like me and your eyelashes just drop throughout the day whatever mascara you use then sometimes you just want something that will pick them up a bit and make them look how they did in the morning.
My last handbag essential is a lip product and the lip product in my handbag changes everyday to what I am wearing that day, just in case I go out to eat and my lipstick comes off or if it just wears off throughout the day so a lip product is a must!

So they are all of my handbag essentials! What are yours? Are they the same?
And also I just wanted to ask you to leave some blog post requests in the comments! I'm having a bit of a blog brain freeze so let me know what you want to see!

5 Different Ways to Use a Buffing Brush!

I'm sure most of you will own a buffing brush or if you don't and you want a multitask brush then you should definitely buy one! My favourite is the Real Techniques Buffing Brush and I'm going to show you 5 different ways you can use a buffing brush!

1. Foundation - This is the obvious one that a lot of people would use it for, its great for buffing in foundation and working it into your skin for a flawless finish.

2. Concealer - A lot of people would be scared to poke themselves in the eye when using this for concealer (I used to be one!)  but with practise, it becomes very easy and it leaves a beautiful crease-less finish.

3. Contour - You can use the brush on its side and pick up a little bit of contour powder and work it into the hollows of your cheeks, it really does work and it looks seamless!

4. Cream Blush - I say cream blush because with powder it can apply a lot of product unless your super careful. You can pick up a nice amount of product and swirl it onto the apples of your cheeks and it also looks very blended and seamless!

5. Highlighter - Like the contour, you can turn the brush onto its side and dip it into the product then apply it onto the high points of your cheeks, this is ideal if you like that strong highlight but if not then you are better off with a fluffier brush.

When you buy any brush you should never read the label and think you can only use it for what it says, look at the brush and think how you can use it and what you want to use it for and go for it! Makeup has no rules, it is simply an art!

The Dream Glosses!

Hey guys! So if you follow me on Instagram (link in the icon above) you will see that I recently received these beautiful Dior Lipglosses in 686 Fancy Purple and 267 Nuit De Juin and I couldn't pass doing a reveiw on these!
These glosses are really high in quality, as you would have guessed already, and they are truly beautiful! They are not sticky in the slightest but they are tacky enough to give that shine and grip you need from a lip gloss. They have a very slight smell that I'm not particularly fond of, but it doesn't really bother me too much as it is very weak. These are the two swatches of the shades I have..

686 Fancy Purple and 267 Nuit De Juin

The shade 267 Nuit De Juin has to be my favourite as it is the perfect light pink shade that goes with any lipstick, if you saw my previous post here then you will see that I use it to achieve that ever so famous 'perfect pout' as it just makes your lips look really nice and plump and the light reflects off the shimmer really beautifully. 686 Fancy Purple is not my favourite of shades as brighter pink shades like that I do not like to have lots of shimmer in them as personally I do not like how they look on my lips, but the most important is the formula and I would definitely recommend this lip gloss as the formula is beautiful and if you want to treat yourself then this is a great product to go for but I would say choose your shades wisely to something you know will wear and will suit you!

5 Steps To The Perfect Pout

**For a quick announcement, read till the end**

I'm sure we all want to have that perfect pout that everyone seems to have recently, so I'm going to show you how you can achieve that in 5 quick steps!
Step 1: Line your lips with a pinky-nude lip liner (Rimmel Lip Liner in Eastend Snob) and fill them in, then go over and over line them slightly.
Step 2: Apply lipstick a couple of shades lighter than your lip liner (Mac Lipstick in Peach Blossom) all over your lips.

Step 3: Apply a light pink shimmery lip gloss (Dior Lip Gloss in 267 Nuit de Juin) to the centre of the lips.
Step 4: Apply a contour shade (Sleek Contour Kit) below your lip to give a more poutier appearance.
Step 5: Apply a highlight shade right in the centre of the lips to reflect even more light.

And this should be a similar result! Instead of going round doing silly challenges to plump up your lips, just use these 5 easy steps and you will get an even better result!

Now for my little announcement. A Makeover.....

Hey guys! So as you will be reading this now you may have already realised (duh) that my blog looks a lot different, I decided to change my blogger template to something in my opinion much nicer. The previous one that I had was one from blogger itself and a lot of people had it so decided to go and purchase a unique template that I love! I had been searching for one for a while now but I never came across one that I absolutely loved and adored until I found this one! I really hope you like it as much as I do and this is to a brighter blogging future! Love you all and thank you for the support ❤

Favourite Quotes!

Hey guys! So today I have a different kind of post and I thought I would do these sort of chill, lifestyle posts from time to time! I'm just going to be sharing with you some of my favourite quotes that I feel like really help to live by!

I mainly remember this one when something happens that you may not have expected or your not particularly pleased with. Everything happens for a reason, so accept it.

Every time someone new comes into the picture, wait a while, then think, is this person a blessing, or a lesson? It is important to have people come in your life as a lesson so you can learn from either your mistakes or theirs and you can know what not to do again. People that come into your life as blessings are just the best.

 Albert Einstein Quotes (31)

This one is kind of linked to the previous one, you have to make mistakes in life to know what's right and wrong and what you should or shouldn't do again. Every time you make a mistake, you learn something new.

This one is for them who judge a book by its cover, however pretty that person may look with a face full of makeup, if they have an ugly heart, it will always show through!

I think this one goes for anyone with eyebrows and wants them to look the same, eyebrows are sisters and not twins so if you can't make them look identical then it really doesn't matter, everyone struggles. But.... That's not an excuse to have them look like long lost cousins because that is not a good look!

I hope you liked this a bit different post but I like them, do you?
