Simple Skincare Range!

Hi everyone, so I have been testing out this skincare range by simple for quite a while now and I thought that I would review it for you guys! The first thing I bought was the Purifying Cleansing Lotion as I was in need of one and as I have very dry skin I thought that I would go for a cream based cleanser as that is best for my skin type. A couple of weeks later I bought Protecting Light Moisturiser as I wanted a light moisturiser for the day time as I don't want something that is heavy during the day. I then thought that I should get the Soothing Facial Toner as I just wanted to complete the set and see how they all work together.

Starting off with the cleaner, I can say that I really like it! It takes off all your makeup really nicely and anything else leftover on your face throughout the day, you can use it day and night and it isn't too heavy your skin.
I have had the toner for the least amount of time compared to the other products but I do like it. It is really refreshing when applied to the skin and it is 100% alcohol free which is great, alcohol makes your skin really dry and some toners do contain alcohol so you need to look out for that! It also removes any last traces of makeup still left on your skin. The only thing I would say against this product is that I haven't found a difference in my pores since using it but other than that it is a good product.
Finally the moisturiser, I really like the moisturiser as it is really nice and light and perfect for the daytime if you don't want anything heavy. I have very dry skin so I did want something that is light but moisturising enough for my skin so I don't get super dry patches and flakey skin. I think the moisturiser would also be good for oily skin as it isn't too heavy.
Overall I really like all 3 products and would definitely recommend them!
You can purchase any simple products from several different stores including Boots, Superdrug, Tesco, Asda and more!

Hope you liked it ;-)

I Went Shopping .................

Hi everyone, so I have been shopping and I thought I would show you the things that I bought. These are the things that I have bought over a couple of shopping trips from Superdrug, Boots and more!

The first place I went to was Superdrug!

The first thing I picked up was the Real Techniques Stippling Brush, I wanted a brush that would apply base product like foundation, I also saw that it was a dual-fibre brush which meant it that picks up less product on the brush when applying something to your face which I really like. The next thing I picked up was the Sleek Blush by 3 Pallete in Lace, I have wanted this blush trio for a very long time as I have heard that they very nicely pigmented and the colours are really beautiful. Another thing I picked up was the L'Oreal Super Liner Ultra Precision, I have wanted a new eyeliner and I just thought that this looked pretty good so I picked it up. I have seen a lot of people taking about the Bioderma Micellar Cleansing Water and because its a French brand its not easy to get hold of, so I saw this Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and I thought that this would probably similar so I picked it up to see how it was. The last thing I picked up was the L'Oreal EverSleek Smoothing & Moisture Shampoo, I had just recently cut my hair and my hair is really frizzy, the shorter my hair is the more frizzy it gets so I would need to straighten my hair much more often. As you all probably know using heat tools on your hair doesn't do any good for it so I wanted a really nourishing shampoo that would restore the moisture back into my hair so I saw this and I was tempted by the name and I thought I would give it a go!

Another day I popped into Boots!

Sorry about the big picture!

The first thing I picked up in there was the No7 Triple Protection Tinted Moisturiser, I don't wear foundation because I don't feel like I need it so I generally just stick to tinted moisturisers but most of the time I don't really wear anything for a base. I saw this and I had a voucher for No7 so I thought I would give it a try and maybe review it for you guys. The next thing I bought was the Botanics Radiant Youth Hydrating Eye Cream, I really wanted an eye cream as I didn't actually own one before, I wasn't looking for de-puffing or anything fancy like that, I just wanted something very natural and hydrating and this ticked all my boxes so I picked it up! I also picked up the Soap&Glory Scrubatomic Scrub, I was in need of a new scrub and I have seen a couple of people mention this scrub so I thought I'd give it a try.

On the same day I also went into The Body Shop!

I only bought one thing from the body shop and it was the Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder, there has been a lot of hype about this bronzer and I basically just wanted to try it!

Another shop I popped into was M&Co!

I went in there just to look around and I saw this dress and I really liked it, I thought I could pare it with some plain black leggings and it would look awesome.

In my upcoming posts I might do a post about what I thought about all the products I showed you today, so if you would like me to do it then just leave a comment!

So that is all for my haul today I hope you liked it! :-)

D.I.Y Nourishing Face Mask

Hi everyone, so today I thought that I would do a D.I.Y post as I thought that I might start a little series of doing a D.I.Y post once a month!? if you would Iike me to do it then leave me a comment telling me what you think!
So, back to what this post is really about. I'm going to show you how to make a super nourishing face mask that leaves your skin feeling super soft and glowy!

First of all you need a banana and some honey. Cut up your banana into a bowl and start mashing it up with a fork until its smooth. You then want to add 2 teaspoons of honey into your bowl and mix the ingrediants together.

The Inside of your bowl should look a  little something like this!^^^^^^^^
Apply this to your face and leave it on for about 10-15 minuites. This definitely leaves you skin looking flawless and much brighter as all of the Ingrediants In
this mask are very helpful for your skin!

Hope you liked it :-)

Dermalogica Clear Start Kit

Hi everyone, so today im going to do a review on the Dermalogica Clear start Kit. It includes a foaming face wash, a toner, a daytime treatment, a matte moisturiser and a night time treatment -these products can also be purchased separately via the Demalogica website -.  The ingredients that are used in these products are really good for your skin such as tee tree and lavender.

The foaming face wash, I find is really good for getting rid of anything on your face and it is really nice to use if you just want to refresh your skin. I really like the all over toner as I have found that it really evens out my skin tone and tightens my pores slightly as when I stopped using it I found that my pores started to become larger and overall I just really, really like it.
I find that the daytime treatment is good for preventing breakouts, applying it daily before my moisturiser I find that it does do some good.
I have mixed opinions on the moisturiser as I have very dry skin and I don't feel like its moisturising enough for me so I would have to apply another moisturiser on top or mix them together, whereas I do feel like it would be great for oilier skin as it is not too greasy.
The night time treatment I only apply when I have breakouts as I don't feel like its necessary to apply it when you don't have any breakouts whereas I do find that it makes your breakouts go quicker.

Hope you liked it :-)

What's in my bag!

Hi everyone, so I've seen a lot of people do the 'What's in my bag' post and as I love reading other peoples I thought I would do one myself!

I recently bought this bag from newlook and I absolutely adore it, it is just the right size for any occasion and i love using it for school. I love the detailing on the sides and overall it us just a really pretty and cute bag, so I thought it was definitely the right time to do a 'What's in my bag!'.

So this is what the inside of my bag looks like emptied, It has a zip at one side and two pockets on the other, the smallest one I put my phone in and the other one I put other things in. It is nice and spacious and you can fit a lot of things in!

Sorry that this picture is really big!

Now here is everything that was in my bag. Starting from the left I have some extra ice mints, body shop hand cream, body shop lip balm, my glasses case (with glasses in it), my notebook with all my blogging things in it, a little bag with grips, bobbles etc in it, antibacterial hand gel, a pen, my purse, my train pass, a compact mirror, earphones, an umbrella as the weather has been rubbish recently, my beloved Britney spears fantasy perfume and a pair of itouch gloves which are amazing. So that is everything in my bag!

February Favourites!

Hi everyone, so seen as its the end of February I thought that I would do a February favourites and show you what I have been loving this month.

I'm going to start off with my Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer, I have just been reaching for this concealer a lot during this month as I use everything inside it, I find that the light peach toned colour great for covering up everything under your eye and it leaves that brightening effect, the other yellowy toned colour I find great for covering up redness or any blemishes, the powder is great to on top of it as it just sets it all and they all work brilliantly together.

The next product I have is the Maybelline The Falsies mascara, I find this mascara the best If you want that lengthening, volumising look on your lashes, It doesn't clump your lashes and it isn't sticky so overall this mascara is just perfect.

Another product I have been loving is the Body Shop Born Lippy lip balm (mine is in raspberry), I have just found that this leaves my lips feeling soft and it smells and tastes so nice.

I also have another lip product and its my Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry me, this leaves a beautiful sheer red tint to your whilst hydrating it, you can built up the colour with this lip balm and it is slightly glossy, I normally apply this product and then apply my body shop lip balm over the top of it for more hydration and for more glossiness.

My final product is my Soap and Glory smoulder kohl waterproof eyeliner in cocoa bean. I always apply eyeliner on my upper waterline (tight line) but I don't always want to go as dark and Intense as a black so this is a lovely brown shade that works really well and it also blends really nicely.

So they are the products that I have been loving this month, comment down bellow if you would like me to do these every month or so!

Hope you liked it ;-)
