You first want to start of by adding your caster sugar, butter, self-raising flour, milk, eggs and the zest of 2 lemons all at once and mix them together with an electric whisk until you get a light fluffy texture with no lumps!

You then need to greece your tin with butter of just line it with some greece proof paper and you then just need to pop your mixture in there and put it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes.

Birthday Haul!

Hey everyone, so you might not know but last week on Saturday it was my birthday and I went on a little shopping trip with my friends! I did end up buying quite a lot of things so I thought I would share it with all of you guys :-) And just a quick note, this post is going to be very long so get yourself comfy!
The first shop that I popped into was The Body Shop and this is what I got. ........

The first thing I picked up was the Vitamin E Face Mist, I wanted to get some sort of face mist that would refresh and even set makeup so this product ticked all my boxes! The next product I picked up was the Chamomile Cleansing Oil, I have heard a lot of hype about this product and how it removes everything on your face so I wanted to try it and as I was looking for a cleanser I thought I would just get this. This next product - All in one bb cream - was quite a random purchase as when I was looking online I saw that it was one of their best sellers and I was running out of my tinted moisturiser I thought I would just pick it up and give it a go.

The next shop I went into was Superdrug!

The first thing I knew I was definitely going to get is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer as i was looking for a good everyday concealer that isnt too heavy like the collection lasting perfection ( I still really like that one though!) but can still still cover and ive heard that this concealer is just like the one I was looking for soo in my basket it went! The next thing that made its way into my basket was the L'Oréal Telescopic Mascara, my maybelline the falsies mascara was running out and I didn't want to just repurchase the same one as I wanted to try other mascaras aswell so I thought I would just give this one a try! The Maybelline Gel Eyeliner was also something that I picked up as I find gel eyeliner super easy to do and I didn't really have a good one so this one looked good to me! Another thing I was drawn to was the MaxFactor Cream Blush as I didint yet have a cream blush and as I have dry skin cream products look much better on me compared to powder soo that went in my basket! The Real Techniques Miracle Complection was something that I aslo wanted to buy and I dont have a brush/sponge that gives me a nice full coverage flawless face and ive read some reveiws saying that this sponge does excatly what im looking for so I also picked that up!

I obviously couldn't leave Superdrug without buying some of Tanya Burr's lipglosses so I picked up two which are First Date and Exotic Island and I am super excited to try these out!

Another shop I walked into was Debenhams!

I knew exactly what I wanted when I walked into debanhams and it was the Benefit Primping With the Stars box set but as I was looking around I saw a new box set that is limited edition that had all of thier bestselling items in there so I ended up picking that one instead!

Boots was another shop that I stopped by!

From boots I wanted to get the John Frieda frizz ease conditioning spray but they didnt have that in stock so I got the frizz ease serum instead with the Aussie conditioning spray! I also picked up 2 rimmel eyeliners in nude and purple!

The last shop I went into was Primark!

I got this little sort of toiletry bag for when I travel because I go to London often and I dont have a bag that I can put all of my toiletries in!
The next thing I picked up was a top with cut of shoulders ( sorry I didnt manage to take a picture of it) just to wear around the house and the last think I picked up at the till was some wipes ( which I can already tell you I really dont like).

Hope you liked it!;-)
(And hope it wasn't too long!)

How to rock a bold lip!

Hi everyone, so today I'm going to show you how you can rock a bold lip! I know that some people don't always feel comfortable in wearing a bold lip, so here are some tips on how you can pull it off!

1. Make sure you are keeping the rest of your makeup simple and not OTT because you want the attention to be on your lips and if you wear a bold eye and a bold lip then it would look too overcrowded.

2. Take a cotton bud and make sure your lip line is sharp because any mistakes of slightly going out of your lip line will show up as the colour is bold.

3.  With a bold lip I would highly recommend wearing a lip liner just so the colour doesn't bleed out of your lips as many bold lip colours do that and lip liners prevent that.

4. If you are applying a matte lip colour then I would recommend exfoliating your lips and applying a very hydrating lip balm because matte lip products can be drying towards your lips and they can show the dryness or flakiness that you might have on your lips.

5. Apply your lip product in layers and blot your lips as you go to get the perfect lip!

So they are my tips on your how you can pull off a bold lip!

Perfect Ballerina Style Bun!

Hi everyone, so today I am going to show you how to do a super quick and easy hairstyle on my beautiful model here, that can be suitable for many different occasions! All you need is a hair tie and a few grips and you will be good to go!

So to start off with, you need you put your hair in a ponytail ( you can make yours high or low depending on where you want your bun ) and secure it tightly. To add texture to the hair you can add a salts spray of your choice or backcomb your ponytail slightly.

Now you just want to take your hair and twist it around your hair bobble, keep going until all of your hair is twisted around.

You then want to secure you bun In place with some hair grips and you need to make sure your bun will not just fall out!

To finish you can just pull some bits of hair out and loosen the hair a bit and then you can just add a bit of hairspray and you are done!

I hope you enjoyed it! :-)
